One meeting room will be used for the press; all connected through the internal network in the centre and with access to results at the Internet. We expect to be able to provide space and capacity for about 10 press officials.
Since all press officials will be connected through the internal network they will have access to the Internet through a free of charge fast speed connection. A wireless network is also available.We expect the press officials to bring their laptops, but should there be a need, stationary computers will be available in the press area. There will also be a printer available.
A refreshment service in form of coffee, tea and soft drinks will be available for all accredited press officials - free of charge.
We will provide sufficient space for press conferences after the conclusion of each discipline and in other situations, when necessary.
The latest technology will be in use both for the present press officials and in relation to accumulation and presentation of scores and standings.
All delegations of the championships will be met in Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and in conjunction with departures a similar delivery service will be provided.
A bus service for the official hotel - Tali Bowl - hotel will be provided for all players, coaches, officials, Presidium members with an official entry throughout the whole duration of the championships.
In addition there will be mini buses available for various special situations.
Ball park in the bowling centre will be used to store the equipment. There will be an easy and short distance from ball park to the lanes.
The Banquet will be held in August 1 in the evening in Radisson SAS Hotels Seaside.
